Enjoying the last blast of Summer in Los Angeles!
These Summer style shots were taken by one of my favorite photographers, Natasha Wilson. I had been wanting to work with her for a while and was so thrilled to get the opportunity finally. I love the way Natasha captured the lighting and motion at the charming Madeline Garden tea house in Pasadena, one of my favorite LA haunts~
The Location: Madeline Garden
Madeline Garden has a fascinating history. You would never guess by its whimsical European aesthetic, but in the 1940s, Albert Einstein is rumoured to have resided there and worked in a secret underground office while researching atomic energy. The building was also used as the Navy Undersea Research and Development Center.
More recently, the venue was featured in the fourth episode of the hit series Mad Men…
It’s my favorite secret spot to get some work done with a cup of tea, and I even had my birthday party there last year.
I love a fun crop top, especially when it comes paired with the perfect skirt. This outfit is one of my go-to summer looks for rooftop parties and daytime excursions.
