Sustainable Design and Biomimicry

Blue Frontiers

Blue Frontiers builds sustainable floating islands with innovative governing frameworks.

The project is addressing two critical issues in today’s world:

1. Lack of innovation in governing systems

Solution: securing special legal frameworks from partner governments to allow decentralized and self-directed societal experimentation by customers.

2. Sea Level Rise

Solution: ever better and cheaper floating technologies, and new sustainability practices, will allow them to mitigate the effects by embracing the ocean instead.

 

As the Head of Marketing, I used the latest strategies to reach relevant buyers, grow our presence & establish our brand as the first to market within the industry. I provided leadership to our web, content creation, PR, social media, partnership, & analytics teams. 

DIGITAL MARKETING

Architected digital marketing strategies which doubled organic following across 15 platforms in six months. Amplified engagement through the weekly production of content for multi-language blogs, infographics, videos, ads, podcasts, graphics, and presentations. Crafted brand voice and visual guidelines to ensure cross-channel consistency.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Engaged with media, the company has been featured in over 300 media stories and reached over 1.4 billion viewers since the beginning of 2018. Launched a media archive, video series, and FAQ to respond to inaccurate media stories and public misconceptions about the company.

SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

Streamlined back end contact database flow and content management systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Wrote and edited key documents and whitepapers.

COMMUNITY BUILDING

GLOBAL OUTREACH

RESEARCH AND DESIGN

Monetized community support through the sale of branded merchandise and event tickets. Initiated cross-promotional partnerships and brand ambassador relationships. 

Managed a global competition to compel innovative entrepreneurs to collaborate on large scale development projects. Over a dozen highly qualified contestants currently involved in stages of the contest.

Led sustainable design and biomimicry team to discover and implement nature inspired and ecological solutions to floating community designs.
