Laurel Christine Tincher
Growing up in Silicon Valley meant growing up around both innovation and nature. A hub for ideas, the gateway to the future. That culture, combined with my family’s passion for craftsmanship and the arts, gave root to my thirst for variety and creativity. My curiosity has taken me all over the world: I’ve clocked up 26 countries so far. I’ve studied photography and art with mentors in Cuba, Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Spain. I took my passion for storytelling to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in Film Production. My desire to use full sensory design to help build a sustainable future led me to continue my studies in fashion design and biomimicry. In LA, I lived in an art gallery, a factory-turned-theatre, a Venice Beach penthouse and a ranch made from found and collected objects (true story!). Now I’m on a search for my next home base.
Wherever I am in life, I try never to take my freedom for granted. Be it financial freedom, freedom of expression, political freedom, freedom from illness, or the freedom to roam, I always strive to live without restraint and do whatever I can to enable others to do the same. I am incredibly conscious of mental health issues (having suffered from them myself) and I try to keep a dialogue open about them through every chapter of my life and career.
I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with an incredible range of creatives and brands thus far. With over a decade of experience as a creative director, producer, designer, consultant, and entrepreneur, I’ve been given the opportunity to tell beautiful stories and shift cultural paradigms. I look forward to continuing to open up conversations about the future, design, sustainability, spirituality, health, culture, and freedom.
If there’s a role that will benefit from my particular style and approach, I’ll try my hand at it. I don’t give myself any limits. I’ve always been attracted to the strange and the otherworldly, the organic and the esoteric. My style always carries a touch of the “other” about it.
Get in touch, maybe we’ve got a story to tell together.
